Integral Bodywork is a unique series of therapeutic bodywork sessions endorsed and recommended by Shinjinkai. It is tremendously useful for freeing body-mind restrictions and chronic conditions that may inhibit full participation in our daily activities. Martial art students in particular may find that releasing these stuck patterns can awaken them to new levels of presence and progress in their training.

The Integral Bodywork method can treat and provide relief from both acute injuries and chronic conditions. Other benefits include:

  • Developing a dynamic, flexible center, which is therefore more stable and responsive.
  • Restoring suppleness in the body, reducing the risk of injury.
  • Gaining freedom from tension and inefficient physical habit, increasing the clarity of the mind and the ability to learn through the body.
  • Gaining freedom from tension and inefficient physical habit, increasing the clarity of the mind and the ability to learn through the body.
  • Increased body awareness, balance and function.

"Integral Bodywork can be an aid to directly realizing the inherent wisdom and wholeness of which our bodies and minds are dynamic, living manifestations. In this sense, it is invaluable as a complement to many paths of wholistic or spiritual development. I would say that Integral Bodywork can be a useful method to help us realize and manifest the most deeply grounded and mature structures of our bodies and minds, which are our true potential."  - M. Moore Sensei

The Integral Bodywork series can be experienced one-on-one with a practitioner, or by participating in one of our training programs: a powerful experience in personal development and service to others.
